Honest and well reviewed. I agree with everything he said as I have test driven this vehicle and found my experience to be similar. From a practical perspective I would not buy this car.

Hi BRABUS910
Yes in Australia with all our taxes this car is $70k on the road……
did he say this car is 70 grand?
I didn’t know the evo had such a small fuel tank. That sucks. Why did they make it so small?
stick is the way to go
im 18 and im 5’4 can i drive this car?
i love how people try to justify DCT transmission…by continuously repeating how smooth and fast it is.
i have a dsg gti …..before….
now i have a stick
they’re just making better and better auto gear boxes is all. like most autos used to be shit, but now especially with tcsst cars they’re pretty good, but i still love manuals, sooo much fun lol
are the 09′s manual
its not auto its a dual clutch transmission. basically its a manual with no clutch pedal
It has a sunroof? I thought the Aussie versions didnt come with the sun roof option?
I have an MR, If you’ve ever driven a 07^ GM model it’s similar to that. Not the experience, but the way it shifts. It has an auto/manual or sequential shifting method. Meaning it can be used as a manual or an automatic. In manual mode you can use either the paddle shifters, or the stick. It shifts amazingly fast. Usually manuals, with the right driver, out perform their automatic equivalents. The evo however, is a rare exception. The sequential MR is quicker then the manual GSR. Hope i helped.
thats due to human error…a computer will ALWAYS out perform a human when it comes to most things. Especially shifting…a person cant shift in less than the blink of an eye.
Hey superfragger I hear that for most cars an automatic has about a 5% horse power loss through the transmission then a manual does. For example my 08 350z runs stock 270 whp and an automatic runs about 260 whp (note that mine is with the 07-08 HR motor which has more Hp then the 03-06 DE motor). I just thought i would add that its not a huge difference but the reason for better track times is probally poor manual driving. It seems the skill of high performance driving with a manual is decreasin
The GSR is basically the same car as the MR automatic. Owning one of these myself, I have to say that the MR outperforms the GSR on so many levels. The only noticeable difference between the two models is the BBS rims and aero kit for the MR model. Unfortunately, one cannot say that a manual car is ‘better.’ Yes, it’s more fun… but it’s never ‘better’ performance-wise. The Evo MR has consistently better track times than its manual counterpart.
Why did they make this MR Automatic??? it would be better in Standard i Believe…Does anyone drive one and can tell me how it feels???
nice car … I m thinking to get one but not sure yet
“Hoon Car” lol, I can’t believe it is a classified crime in Oz. I’m spoiled by the exchange and tax difference, but I really like my GSR for a town car. I would be hard pressed to spend $47k USD or $72k AUD for it.
Hey Guys there seems to be some msunderstanding. These reviews are done in Australia and so the $72k is Australian dollars
Uh Realy? last time i checked they used Euros and he clearly says Dollars Clean your ears up!
Uh, he is talking about european prices, not american.
what??? in germany we have to pay 43.000 for the gsr and 53.000 for the mr version. but EUROS so thats 68.000$ for the mr version.
damn……..but i will buy this car anyway..even if it costs 1million$ XD
He is from Australia. Best country!!!
What do you mean servicing the evo. Whats wrong with em cuz im buying either an MR or a G37s
