Yeah, there were a lot of them. They’re pretty expensive to make fast, so a lot of guys stuck with the Silvia/180sx instead.

Because what you can hear is the wastegate. When you have an open wastegate, the turbo is way to quiet to be heard. Go to about 2:24 in the video when I line up with the 450hp Eclipse GSX. You can hear my wastegate go through 5 gears. Thats a T04S pushing 400hp+ on that setup. (last dynoed 395rwhp)
