I just discovered this song today and I must say that it’s amazing. I was born in ’88 but only wish I grew up in the 60′s and 70′s. I can relate to this song quite a bit, back in high school I had a ’95 Firebird that my dad and I did some work to. I hadn’t a penny to my name but it was the fastest car in school and my buddies and I use to hang out at the local wawa with our muscle cars and look for races. The car is gone but my passion for cars and racing isn’t and that’s what keeps me going
I can’t hear this song without thinking about my brother and his ’68 Cutlass that he had souped up…….I used to love to ride along with him(when he let me)when he would let it loose…………
I know the number is overwhelming, but at the time l’m typing this the thumbs up to thumbs down ratio on this video is 370-4. I know the thumbs up number demolishes the thumbs down, but it still pisses me off that even one person can thumbs down this.
@MrRockets84 wow me=you. thats exactly the way i feel. thats how i got hooked on bruce (early bruce is the only bruce to me) is the live 75-85 album. then i discovered prove it all night and all the other 78 shows.
I feel the same, I’m 25 and have been a big fan of Bruce since i was a kid, my Dad introduced me to him at a young age i’ve been hooked ever since. My favourite album is the Live 75-85 album, man I’d give anything to have seen him and the E Street band perform back then…maybe Born to Run at the Giants stadium!
I saw Bruce twice on the River tour. The music lives…get Men Without Women by Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul (aka Miami Steve aka Steve van Zandt). If you love (and understand Darkness) you’ll get this album too
Greetings from the Netherlands aswell. I’m only 16 but the only music I listen to is Bruce Springsteen and then especially these Darkness tour concerts.
Everything was so pure, so raw full with emotion back then.
I already have given Bruce a hand for about 10 seconds during “The Promised Land” at the Pinkpop concert at 30 may 2009.
My best moment in my life period, but If i could get 1 wish in my whole life it would be to see a 1978 concert.

Bruce, año 1978, Capitol Theatre, New Jersey…Racing in the street…maravilloso…con un final, instrumental…precioso….
Is it me or is he saying something other than “Fulie heads” in the second line?
This is just such a great song. It feels like nobody writes music like this anymore. Well, that’s why he’s the boss!
Great Video, hearing stuff like this is just incredible.
Thanks to the poster
