That’s a straight drag car, it’s going to have an automatic. They’re much more consistent when it comes to ET bracket racing. Stop saying automatics are for pussies. When you get dusted by a prius in a bracket race, I’ll be there laughing at you.
yep, every time vette shifted, nova pulled away. gottem on the hole shot too. it was play catch up from that point on

Uh, anyone here with diarrhea of the mouth would be “schooled” by either of these cars. Im a Ford fan, but I have tons of respect for them all. These are low 9-second cars and the margin of victory at a track would have been less than 3 tenths. And why is it that every snot-nosed punk kid looking in the trunk of a race car has to say, “So, dude, zit got noss?”
There both good old american muscle, so I like both cars.

@ljdgm Dude I can find a freaking Vega for 300. I will take that vette any day of the week.. Dont get me wrong though. Nova’s are killer.
@Natezoinks i can find a 78 nova for less than 1k. i can build a cheap race car. and even foxbodys are reasonable

@badassmemo yeah i know? 1/3. that nova to build it up into a 9 second car max should cost you 35k at a max! easily 20k. that vette. how much for the car it self alone? with the original engine? 35k minimum no? a nice one? even if its 25k. or 20k. now what about building it up into the 9s? should cost a decent amount. alright maybe not 1/3 but still a big difference. that vette to start costs more to build a muscle car from early 1970

that nova cost 1/3 for what that vette cost. and if not. waste of money. single digit car is no more that 20 to 25k.

@Snortemup i disagree. until your making serious power the manual is an advantage. when your makin like 6 or 700 then the auto would definitely be better. in the case of these two insane cars here… thats an automatics win
